Meet Milky
Milky is a beautiful 45 lb Bulldog-Frenchie mix with a heart full of affection and a calm, snuggly energy that makes her the perfect couch companion. She gets along wonderfully with people, dogs, and even cats—her sweet and gentle nature shines through in every interaction.
Milky does have a few challenges, but they don’t stop her from being a truly special dog. She is partially vision impaired, which means she can feel startled or uncertain in unfamiliar situations. She also experiences some separation anxiety, especially when left alone or crated—likely tied to her difficult past. While she’s house-trained, occasional accidents may happen during moments of heightened anxiety.
She may give a small growl if she’s spooked, but it comes from fear, not aggression. With kindness and patience, she quickly settles and feels secure. Her ideal home is one with a calm environment and someone who is home most of the time—whether working remotely or retired.
Milky loves to be included in daily life—she enjoys going on walks, running errands, and being out in public where she’s always excited to greet new friends. She’s done wonderfully with respectful children, but due to her vision and sensitivity, a home without young kids would be best.
Milky’s journey hasn’t been easy, but she continues to blossom with love and consistency. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be by your side, Milky might be the one for you.

Meet Elena
Affectionate, energetic, and always ready for fun, Elena is a playful, rough-and-tumble girl who thrives on activity and love. She enjoys long walks, splashing in the water, and chasing after toys—making her the perfect companion for an active, outdoorsy family.
Elena is loyal and protective, and she absolutely adores children. She does best with large-breed dogs who can match her energy and play style, but due to her strong prey drive, she’s not suited for homes with cats or small dogs.
This sweet, spirited girl would thrive in a home filled with adventure, attention, and plenty of room to play. If you're looking for a loving and lively dog to keep up with your active lifestyle, Elena is ready to be your new best friend.

Meet Dean
Dean isn’t just a pet—he’s a presence. His gentle, loving nature brings warmth to every room and turns a house into a true home. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch during movie night, playing tag with the kids, strolling through the farmers market, or just being by your side on a family walk, Dean is happiest when he's part of it all.
He’s calm, affectionate, and incredibly obedient—making him the ideal family companion. Dean has a natural connection with children, often gravitating toward them with quiet trust and devotion. Though he can be timid in unfamiliar or stressful situations, he seeks comfort from those he trusts, and with just a little reassurance, his personality shines through—always with a smile.
Dean’s future family is in for something truly special. While he may not mesh with all dogs, he does well with puppies and gentle, submissive companions—especially when introductions are slow and thoughtful. He simply thrives in a peaceful, supportive environment.
Walks with Dean are a dream. He stays close, unfazed by barking dogs or busy surroundings, and looks up at you with complete trust. Even during mealtimes, he shows incredible patience—sitting sweetly next to the kids as they eat, never begging, just enjoying the moment.
Whoever welcomes Dean into their home won’t just be gaining a pet—they’ll gain a loyal friend for life.
-
Meet Brody
Brody’s playful spirit shines brightest on pool days—splashing, fetching, and living his best life. He’s always up for fun, whether it’s a game of fetch, a road trip, or a good cuddle session.
This water-loving pup is affectionate, curious, and thrives in the company of other dogs—with proper introductions, of course. While he prefers not to be challenged by dominant male dogs, he’s a total gentleman with the ladies and always ready to play.
Brody has been waiting far too long for his forever family. Once the longest-term resident at MDAS, he’s now also the longest resident at SGT Canines. But he hasn’t given up—and neither have we.
If you love walks, have a yard for splashing or zoomies, and are ready to give a loyal, deserving dog his second chance, Brody is ready to jump into your heart (and probably your pool 💦).
