Young Adults

Young adults are in that in‑between stage — playful, curious, and still shaping their confidence. When a dog in this life chapter needs a path toward a forever home, their story will begin here.

ROBBY — Young Adult (1 year) • Gentle Giant

About Me

Robby is a 1‑year‑old German Shepherd currently in foster care. As a young adult, he’s energetic, curious, and still learning the world around him. He benefits from structure, patient guidance, and adopters who appreciate a large‑breed dog with a bright, eager personality. Meeting Robby through his foster gives potential adopters the chance to see his relaxed, true self outside the shelter environment.

If you’re looking for a young, affectionate companion who enjoys connection, routine, and active engagement, Robby may be the one to welcome home.

CEVICHE — Young Adult (2 year) • Gentle Giant • Long-Stay

About Me

Ceviche is a playful, active young dog who especially enjoys toys and a good game of tug. During interactions at the shelter, he has done well meeting other dogs.

With his enthusiasm for play and activity, Ceviche may be a good match for an adopter looking for an active companion and willing to provide regular exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to play.

Ceviche has been in shelter care since September 2025. Anyone interested in learning more about his temperament, daily routine, or compatibility with their household should speak directly with Miami-Dade Animal Services.
